I haven't been trying to be silent it just worked out that way. Work has been crazy busy while several members get ready to go out of town for several weeks and a co-worker gets ready to spend some of her vacation days taking care of her daughter-in-law and soon to be born second grandchild. I haven't had time to really worry or obsess about things. Well... not too much anyway. I have spent some time worrying that maybe I should cough up the insane amount of money and do some fertility testing... but I keep talking myself out of it and deciding to hold off for a little longer. The start of another try is this week so keep your fingers crossed that this is the one...
In other news... The D.va cup is not my favorite thing. So once it is in, it is better than a tampon and less messy than a pad. The issues I have with it are getting it in and out. Although, it was easier to get it in on repeated usage, getting it out has not gotten easier... which makes me really detest it. I'll try it a few more times and hope that it gets better but I'm not really holding out hope.
Cloth menstrual pads aren't so bad. My only issue with them is they have a tendancy to slide some which disp. pads don't do. I didn't have any other issues so will probably use them again.
Family cloth... is annoying and will never take the place of toilet paper. That's all I got to say.
Anyone know how to get rid of mosquitos? My master bath somehow has a colony of mosquitos breeding in there. I keep killing them (killing them one at a time is time consuming and really bothersome) and they keep coming back so there must be some way they are getting in from the outside or they have some kind of breeding ground that I can't find in there. So how do I get rid of them so I use the bathroom without having to protect myself from the swarm of mosquitos that live in there? Off only makes them fly around more.
The walkabout kitty made an appearance the other night. Smug little brat came out when I took the dog on a walk and laid down in the front yard and just watched as I walked the dog and then ran away as soon as I started getting close to coming home. She is apparently still enjoying the free life.
Well, I have to go work now... *grimace*

I tried the Diva Cup once and was so traumatized by it, I threw it in the bathroom cupboard and never looked at it again. I must have spent the better part of an hour trying to get that damn thing out. I envy all the women who have had nothing but happy, joyful experiences with it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for following my blog :) I'll have to go back and catch up on your blog. I've never tried the d.va cup, but do like the mama cloth. Though if I'm at work on one of the two heavy days I'll still use disp. pads, but in the year I've used the cloth I still haven't finished the package of disp. pads I had when I made the switch. When I'm at work I have to make sure the mama cloth is pulled to the front so it doesn't decide to go up my behind (probably tmi-sorry!) I love family cloth. It seems to be the right thickness for me and then I toss it in the wet bag. But I can see how it wouldn't work for everyone, but at least you gave it a shot!!!
